Lever projects

Since 2018, funds initially dedicated to regular calls for projects have been evenly distributed among the five thematic areas of research of the Québec Maritime Network. Every year and for each of the themes, a research project can receive up to $40,000 in funding. This amount must have a lever effect so as to mobilize at least an equivalent amount from another source of funding.

As key direct or indirect stakeholders in the project, theme directors are tasked with spearheading the preparation of a grant application related to their theme. A rigorous evaluation process has been established to foster the development of large-scale intersectoral research initiatives that include a number of regular members, partners, and network users.
